Patient Raves

After having chronic pain from arthritis for more than 25 years, when I experienced debilitating back pain for several months, it was difficult to have hope in its improvement. After 8 sessions with Dr Groves, the pain was gone and I could return to all my previous exercises (body pump, water aerobics, Pilates). He is Great!

-Joan C.

I would recommend Groves PT to others because of their training and clear instruction with research supported information on exercises as well as dismissing various myths and unsupported approaches.

-Sarah S.

Other PT places I’ve gone to were unfriendly and cold. At Groves PT, I laughed at every visit. They were friendly, down to earth and actually made PT enjoyable.

-Katie W.

Since coming to Groves PT, I have achieved greater strength in my body. My legs feel stronger when walking. Dr Garrigues is a fun therapist to work with and the home exercises help me too! In the past, Dr Garrigues worked on my shoulder with equally successful results.

-Lill

The staff is knowledgeable, professional, and seem to genuinely care about your well being. Your recovery is clearly priority #1.

Our Pledge to QRCs

Open Communication:
QRCs are welcome and encouraged to attend their client’s appointment at anytime. In addition, Groves Physical Therapy is known for its straightforward communication back to QRCs, especially with difficult cases.
Evidence Based Approach:
Bottom line is that by leveraging the latest research, we save visits. The success of patients/clients returning to work is often affected by psychosocial factors. Evidence based practice and our higher level of training allow us to quickly identify known predictors of non-success and alter our treatment approach to maximize the outcome. In the event that the patient’s symptoms will not completely resolve, we provide realistic recommendations backed by research, rather than endlessly dragging cases out when PT is no longer going to help.
Highest Training Available:
Our Physical Therapists are doctoral degreed, Board Certified Orthopaedic Specialists, and Fellowship trained in Manual Physical Therapy. Only 1-2% of Physical Therapists nationwide have obtained this level of training. In addition, our therapists are Affiliate faculty with both Medical and Physical Therapy Schools around the nation, assist in continuing education both in the Twin Cities Metro and nationwide, and are guest lecturers locally at multiple venues.
Prompt Scheduling:
Your client will usually be able to be seen within 24-48 hours. FCE’s can usually be scheduled within 5-7 business days. For FCEs, insurance approval/patient availability (versus our availability) are most often the limiting factors for how soon the patient can be scheduled. In other words, we can get the patient scheduled quickly, there is no such thing as a 2-3 week waiting list.
